Good Trans-Taiga ride thread

Postby Bonk » Thu Dec 10, 2009 4:27 pm

Here's a really good thread from six guys who did the Trans-Taiga on motorcycle in early September. Sounds like they had quite an adventure. ... ge=1&pp=15

As much as I loved the JBR, I'll pass on 666km of unpaved road. But I love reading about it.

I've done the Dalton, now I want to do trans-Taiga. Are there places to pull off and camp? Also, I hear ther are outfitters along the way where I can buy fuel - i have about a 325 mile range on my Subaru. Are the outfitters spaced so that I can get from one to another all the way to the end and back to Radisson?
